Ohhh!!! I am so excited I saw this recipe blog!! I've been thinking about starting one too, but I just don't have time. I haven't even had time to blog about my books recently. :(
If you haven't noticed, most of the people I blog with I don't know so I tend to comment back on their comments---so I'll just say what I would have said in response to your comment. :)
I thought Night was really powerful as well. I read The Hiding Place several years ago and liked it as well. The only "sequel" to Night that I know of is Dawn and I've heard it isn't quite as good...but I haven't read it so I don't really know. Primo Levi is another good survivor-writer...but very different because he ended up giving up his faith in the holocaust which is really sad. Sorry...I could talk about books forever. :)
